The deed is done: Silent E is painted! While it was in there, I got the cracked windshield replaced. Isn't it shiny?

Apparently Manny couldn't "buff it out". He wound up respraying below the trim. There used to be a dent here; now you can't tell unless you're looking for it, and the light happens to fall just right.

The "wing" attaches here. There used to be a little bump; it's gone now, too.

This is the spot on the hood where Nathan dropped it onto the windshield. Not only is the windshield fixed, but the bent hood has been straightened, too.

In fact, according to Manny, there were a lot of dents and dings that weren't obvious before. Apparently both the daylight and the car color contributed to covering them up. That's fine by me, since the car is going to be seen mostly in the daylight and I picked the same color!

The whole thing came out shiny and beautiful. Now all I have to do is paint all this trim and put the car back together!
